Many of the tours featured on this website can also be delivered in lecture format, accompanied by slides of the places and features of interest. In addition, it may be possible to prepare talks on other subjects of local interest. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

Here are details of some of those already on offer.

 

A look at some of the attractive villages to be found around Peterborough, many of which date from Roman or Saxon times.

A short talk on the life of a Blue Badge Guide in Peterborough—the highs and the lows—accompanied by a few anecdotes. This can be on its own or in conjunction with the illustrated lecture of your choice.

A brief introduction to the life of John Clare, known in his lifetime as the ‘Peasant  Poet’.
